Stephen M. Guido,
Ph.D. Psychologist It is my
policy to respond to any person who chooses to make an inquiry
about treatment. I will make every effort to respond to an
inquiry within 48 hours or sooner if the nature of the problem
warrants it. It does not matter if the focus is to
enter treatment or discuss other possible alternatives to
treatment. You can elect to choose my services, but I
will also direct you to another provider if my expertise does not
correspond with your needs, provide information and/or possible
resources to direct your efforts.

I am a Certified Critical Incident Stress
Management provider, and I
have treated individuals,
families, employees of corporations and government
agencies when a traumatic incident has occurred. Some of the
interventions occurred with the victims and/or families of
9/11, incidences of workplace violence and/or accidents,
domestic abuse, and other traumatic events. In most traumatic
incidents, the trauma not only affects the victim but those people
close to him/her. Healing requires immediate
intervention for both the victim and those who interact
with him/her on a daily basis. Also, I provide on
site de-briefings to victims, and the necessary
appointments that follow.
